    MAJOR QUALITY ACCREDITATION

Everyone within MPM were involved in the training and conversion programme monitored by BSI which culminated in the award of the ISO 9001 2015 accreditation following a very successful assessment by BSI in February 2018.

We are hugely proud of our Quality accreditation and the invaluable contribution that the programme makes to the success of the Company and its abilities to meet the needs and expectations of our customers and attract new clients. Congratulations to all involved.

    A MARATHON EFFORT BY DEAN

On Sunday 22nd April, Dean, our Manufacturing Manager, took part in The London Marathon.

It was his first marathon, and despite carrying an injury sustained in training in the lead up to the event and record temperatures on the day, Dean still managed a hugely creditable sub 4hr 30 time. The run was the culmination of a huge fundraising effort by Dean and his partner Emma who between them raised over £5,500 for Alzheimer’s research. A truly wonderful effort for a very deserving cause.

    CONGRATULATIONS FRANTA

On passing all elements of Year 1 of his NVQ Level 3 Coursework which MPM run in conjunction with Central Beds College in Dunstable.
As English is not his first language, Franta has had to put in special effort and complete additional modules and the Company recorded their acknowledgement of this achievement recently when he was presented with a digital Vernier.
We wish Franta and his fellow Apprentices all the best as they continue their studies towards full qualification on MPMs Apprenticeship Programme.

    Exam passed!

On passing his IT exam last week, Tyla was thrilled with MPM’s gift of a digital vernier! As part of their mechanical engineering NVQ level 3 course at Central beds college, both our apprentices are able to strengthen their knowledge and qualifications in other subject areas. The first year of the apprenticeship has been very successful and we look forward to welcoming a new apprentice in the Autumn. Keep up the good work Tyla!

  • A BRIGHT SUMMER

    18 April 2017

Summer 2017 is set to be bright for us at MPM with the arrival of two new machines. The Doosan Puma GT2600 CNC Lathe and DNM4500 CNC Machining Centre will be integral to our new agile machining cell. The cell will not only be used to greatly increase our machining capacity but also to be the base for the development of our apprentices. The two apprentices’ progress has been extremely impressive, both on the shop floor and at college, and they will soon be able to develop their skills using the latest state of the art technology under the guidance of our experienced CNC team. More news is to follow in the coming months.
